How it works

One monthly cycle. The whole company.

Unbreakable OS keeps your whole company working toward the same few goals. You set the goals, your team brings the ideas and does the work, and one monthly cycle ties it together. Here’s each step and why it’s there.

Step 01

Set a few big goals

Start with up to five big goals. Each one is a single clear result with a number, a deadline and one owner. We recommend setting them for about a year, lined up with your calendar year, but you choose the length. Everything else in Unbreakable OS ties back to them.

Why it worksIt forces focus on what matters most right now, and lines the whole company up behind the same few results.

Step 02

Your team pitches ideas

Anyone in the company can pitch an idea, and every pitch has to support a big goal. It says what will be done by the end of the month, how you’ll know it worked, and why it’s worth doing now.

Why it worksYou get the thinking of your whole team, not just the people in the room, without the work drifting away from the goals.

Why now
Members keep asking how to give a membership as a present, and December is our slowest month for sign-ups.
A pitch: tied to a big goal, with a month-end result and a way to measure it.
Step 03

AI reviews every pitch first

Before a pitch reaches leaders, AI checks that it’s ready to discuss: it ties to a goal, names a month-end result, has a way to measure it and gives a real reason. A weak pitch goes back to its author with a question or two. A strong one moves on.

Why it worksLeaders only spend time on pitches that are ready. The AI never approves or rejects anything. Leaders make every call.

Step 04

Leaders decide once a month

Once a month, leaders meet and decide each pitch in about eleven minutes: three to pitch, seven to discuss and one to decide. Every pitch is approved, banked for later or rejected. Approved pitches become next month’s priorities, each with one owner.

Why it worksWith clear goals, deciding what’s worth doing takes minutes, not weeks. And a month is short enough to learn fast and change course.

Step 05

Owners post a weekly update

Every week, the owner of each priority marks it on course or deviating, then writes three to four sentences each on what got done, what’s in the way and what’s next. It’s written down, so nobody needs a status meeting to hear it.

Why it worksLeaders can see how every priority is going without chasing anyone, and problems show up while there’s still time to fix them.

What got done
The gift-a-membership page went live on Monday, and the offer email went to 1,200 current members on Wednesday. We sold 38 gift memberships in week one, against a target of 30. Most came from the email, not the website. Nine buyers added a second gift.
Challenges
Two installers didn’t know how a gift gets redeemed, so one customer got a different answer from each. I wrote a short redemption script and sent it to every technician on Thursday. Checkout on phones is also dropping people at the payment step. Dana is looking into it, but we haven’t found the cause yet.
Next steps
Email past customers whose membership lapsed on Tuesday. Fix phone checkout before that email goes out. Check redemptions on Friday to make sure the script is working. If week two comes in under 30 sales, I’ll add a reminder text on Thursday.
A weekly update: one status and three answers of three to four sentences each.
Step 06

Every priority ends executed or failed

At the end of the month, every priority is marked executed or failed, with a note on the results. Then the cycle starts again with the next month’s pitches.

Why it worksEach month ends with a verdict and a record, so the next one starts from the truth. Your execution rate shows how often the company does what it said it would.

Executed and failed priorities add up to your execution rate.

Not another place to park tasks

Project tools organize activity. Unbreakable OS connects your goals, decisions, work and results in one loop that repeats every month.

Three management myths

Myth 1

Productivity means doing more

Productivity is relentlessly doing what matters. Everything else is noise.

Myth 2

More tracking means better performance

Connecting your goals to your priorities does more than tracking ever will.

Myth 3

Failure is bad

Build failure into your process, learn from it every month, and you’ll move faster than teams that hide it.

Built by an active CEO

Made from the seat of a CEO, not a software committee.

Unbreakable OS came from years of running companies on other frameworks and wanting something simpler, faster and focused on what matters most.
